OrthoSynetics is sponsoring a rider in this year's Wounded Heroes Foundation Motorcycle Ride from Chicago to Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington DC. The ride is a fundraiser and show of support for Wounded Heroes who have were injured serving our country in the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The Wounded Heroes Foundation provides support to severely injured men and women of our Armed Forces serving around the world. The Foundation helps meet the need of these service men and women as well as support their families by offering physical, emotional and financial support to the Wounded Heroes. The organization’s
Web site describes its mission as “Filling in the gaps where needed, our job is paying a missing mortgage payment, purchasing a handicap accessible van, building or remodeling homes, securing a new mortgage at a lower interest rate, assembling and delivering care packages and even providing a recreational trip to enhance a Heroes' recovery. These efforts are mere gestures compared to their service. We try to Insure their American Dream because they have Ensured ours.”
